A person on MMO central by the name "The Funny Bunny" sent an email asking about the Colored gloves on Gus Gooseburger. This is the exact email they got in response.

The story goes that Gus was helping paint part of the Toontown Central H.Q. when Toontown was built. Apparently, some silly Toon thought it would be funny to dip his gloves in a can of red paint when he slipped them off to wash his hands. Those Toons do the craziest things, huh? Old Gus wasn't mad though. In fact, I think he secretly likes them like that - it makes him unique!
