About the edit that is undone

I worry sometimes about how users interpret us undoing edits. While the user was probably correct (because I for one am certain that hitting a cog with sound/throw/squirt before drop does increase the drop's accuracy) there is no canon explanation given in game to prove it. That's why we can't allow it. However, if a formal study was done with reliable citations then it would provide enough evidence to leave a remark there. For the time being, I will leave it as a common belief on the drop page. Theevinatalk 16:07, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

This also makes me wonder if a full page of battle strategy rumors would be appropriate. This include the "hit rightmost lured cog and it will always jump back" as well as other commonly believed battle dynamics that are not supported by official citations. Theevinatalk 16:13, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Since we have a few articles that aren't officially in the game (clans, hackers, greeners, etc.), a battle strategy rumor page could be appropriate. As for the Drop gag and accuracy, according to the Player's Guide:
You can make your chances of hitting a Cog with a Drop gag greater by stunning them first with another type of gag in the same attack. Naturally, you'll need another Toon to do this for you, so coordinate accordingly!

Player's Guide

Not sure how anyone will interpret that, especially since it doesn't specifically mention which type of gag can help.  Bermuda • Talk • 16:34,7/7/2013

So that means that the edit Flower undid was indeed valid. Interesting. Glad to know it now. Theevinatalk 18:10, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
