Flippy Hardware Success Animation | |

Region: | Germany |
File Name: | flippy_hardwaresuccess.swf |

This Flash file was a website element found on the German version of the Toontown Online website. It featured an animation showing Flippy in front of a circular background breathing in and out. This Flash file did not use the usual in-game Toontown Online design for Flippy however, and instead used a design that featured a bump on the head, a plain red shirt, and yellow pants (though the pants were not visible in this particular Flash file due to it only showing Flippy's upper half).
The Flash file would've appeared on a webpage that the user would've been taken to if their computer's hardware successfully passed a hardware check after clicking the "Hier registrieren" [Register here] button on the German Toontown Online website.
Links of Origin
This Flash file was stored in the link (http://www.toontown-online.de/images/flippy_hardwaresuccess.swf).
Users would have been able to see the Flash file on the webpage (http://www.toontown-online.de/hardwaresuccess.jsp). The purpose of this webpage would have been to open a pop-up window linking to one of the following links:
Therefore, normally the webpage link wouldn't have appeared in the URL as solely (http://www.toontown-online.de/hardwaresuccess.jsp), but rather would've appeared as (http://www.toontown-online.de/hardwaresuccess.jsp?DESTINATION_URL=) with the desired pop-up link appearing next to "DESTINATION_URL=". For instance, if the desired pop-up link was (http://god.t-online.de/toontown/src/action_pages/tt_register.aspx), the link that flippy_hardwaresuccess.swf would've appeared on would've been (http://www.toontown-online.de/hardwaresuccess.jsp?DESTINATION_URL=http://god.t-online.de/toontown/src/action_pages/tt_register.aspx).
Trivia
- The particular Flippy design used in this Flash file was also used in the UK Flash file "toonfilm.swf" and other UK Toontown Online website sources.

Wayback Machine screenshot displaying the webpage the Flash file would have appeared on, and how the file would've been positioned on the page. The text on the webpage approximately translates to "A T-Online registration page should have opened in a pop-up window. If the pop-up window does not open in the next few seconds, please click here."
