This page shows the all the content that came out during Toontown Online's lifespan. This timeline covers 2001 Beta to the closure in 2013. The Release Notes came be found in separate pages.

2000

  • Sometime in 2000 - Development started.[1]

2005

  • January 12th 2005 - Pajama Place came out in the Test Server
  • January 21st 2005 - Cashbot HQ is released on the Test Server
  • February 2nd 2005 - Pajama Place was released on the Open Server
  • February 17th 2005 - Cashbot HQ Was released on the Open Server
  • April 20th 2005 - New Knock-Knock joke doors come out in Toontown as part of the winning entries of the Knock-Knock Door contest.
  • May 5th 2005 - Doodles in Battle Were released in Test Server
  • June 2nd 2005 - Doodles in Battle were released in the Open Server
  • August 25th 2005 - Goofy Speedway was released in Test Server. However, Rustic Raceway and Screwball Stadium along with their "Reverse" formats are the only ones to come out at that time.
  • August 30th 2005 - City Circuit Track comes out on the Test Server.
  • September 15th 2005 - Goofy Speedway comes out in the Open Server.
  • October 8th 2005 - Halloween Events begin on the Test Server.
  • October 12th 2005 - Halloween Events reset, causing the Toons to do the Trick or Treating again, but Franks Pranks are changed to Salmon Enchanted Evening Formal Wear.
  • October 28th-31 2005 - Halloween Events begin in the Open Server.
  • December 9th 2005 - Toon Bear Species come out on both Open and Test Servers.
  • December 23rd 2005 - Goofy Speedway comes out with Blizzard Boulevard, Airborne Acres and Corkscrew Coliseum on the Test Server. Also, the "Pie" item in Racing was introduced that time.

2006

  • January 12th 2006 - Three New Tracks for Goofy Speedway come out on the Open Server
  • March 3rd 2006 - New Gameplay Engine implented
  • April 1st 2006 - Recruit-A-toon Program introduced.
  • April 5th 2006 - Lawbot HQ released on Test Server
  • April 26th 2006 - Lawbot HQ released on Open Server
  • July 26th 2006 - 48 Hours of Cannons released in the Test Server
  • August 2nd 2006 - 48 Hours of Cannons released on the Open Server.

2008

  • March 2008 - Bossbot Headquarters was released on the Open Server
  • April 2008 - Different nametag fonts became available in the Cattlelog
  • June 2008 - The "Special" Cattlelog section was released
  • August 2008 - The "Month of Trolley Games" introduced the following Trolley Games:
  1. Ice Slide
  2. Toon Escape
  3. Cog Thief
  4. Photo Fun
