Theme Designer Issues

Hi Moviesign! Are you still assigned to this Wiki? If not, I would appreciate you forwarding this to the appropriate person.

As of today I'm seeing the new FandomDesktop skin here. I thought I read somewhere that all of the theme customizations would roll over from the old skin. The colors did, but the logo, favicon, and header image seem to have not. I can't even find these images at all now, but I'm not sure where they were located to begin with. I still see a background image, but I have a feeling that was added via CSS somewhere (in which case I can deal with that at another time). Obviously, I'm a little out of touch with this stuff! If you could help me find or restore the images that disappeared, that would be awesome.

Hi! Long time no see. :) I have restored the missing images and removed the old background image for now. The new ThemeDesigner supports full-size backgrounds, but the old image was not very big so I converted it into a banner image across the top (fits with the rooftops very nicely). Feel free to play with the styles and be aware that anything you want to preserve from MediaWiki:Wikia.css needs to be moved into MediaWiki:Fandomdesktop.css. Some of the class names have changed, so check out the FandomDesktop conversion guide for some tips. You will need to design a dark theme for your wiki (but it doesn't have to be elaborate), so check out the new ThemeDesigner and give it a try :) Let me know if you have any questions. —Moviesign (talk) 00:56, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
