Billy Budd's Annual Fishing Tournament
Billy Budd is the host of the Billy Budd's Annual Fishing Tournament (not to be confused with Melville's fishing tournament on April).
In September 2012, Billy Budd hosted another fishing event that ran from September 14 to September 16. The top twenty Toons who caught the most fish per fishing rod each day won a Fishing Boot Shirt.[1]

What an incredible day for fisherToons everywhere! Thousands of Toons from every neighborhood turned out for the greatest fishing competition Toontown has ever seen. Over 2.4 million pounds of fish were caught -- that's the weight of 22 blue whales! (If you don't believe me, visit a whale-weigh station, and see for yourself!) Four Toons proved they were really "hooked" on fishing: Tornado, Sir Tubby Thundermuffin, Toon-anator, and Lady Zippy Whiskergoose. Together, they caught enough fish to start their own ocean, and enough boots to open their own shoe store! Billy Budd sends his thanks to everyone who participated: "You Toons are the 'reel' deal, and that's no fish story!" |
